Terms of Service

These terms cover everything at halfcourthero.com: the Fair Minutes Coach Kit, its add-ons, our free charts, the HalfCourt Hero App, the Chart Builder and Driveway Reps. When you buy from us, make an account or use any of it, you agree to these terms and to our Refund Policy. We wrote them in plain English. 1. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older to buy from us or make an account. HalfCourt Hero is made for the adults who coach. Kids don't make accounts or sign in.

2. What you get

• Printable files. The kit, the Clipboard Edition, the Parent Helper Station Cards and our free charts are downloads. Your download page needs no login and stays up for as long as we run HalfCourt Hero. Please keep your own copy of your files too.
• Online tools. The HalfCourt Hero App and the Chart Builder are tools you sign in to. Driveway Reps works through a coach page and a parent link.
• One payment. Each product is a one-time payment. No subscriptions and no renewals.
• How long online tools last. Your payment gives you access for as long as we offer that tool. If we ever stop offering it, we'll email you at least 60 days ahead, so you can print or copy what you need.
• Updates. We may fix files, add drills or change how a screen looks. We won't take away the main thing you paid for.

3. How you can use what you buy

Everything we make belongs to HalfCourt Hero: the files, charts, practices, drills, plays, messages, missions, and the words and design of the site and the app. When you buy, we give you a personal license to use it with your own teams.

You can:

• Print as many copies as you need.
• Hand pages to your assistant coaches and parent helpers.
• Send the parent messages to your team's families.
• Share your Driveway Reps parent link with your team.
• Share a free chart with another coach, as long as you share the whole file, for free, with our name on it.

You can't:

• Sell, give or send the paid files to other coaches.
• Post the files online, including public folders, websites, social media and file-sharing sites.
• Put our material in another product, course or app.
• Remove our name from anything.

4. Your account

• Keep your login to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• One login is for one coach.
• If you think someone else is using your account, email us right away.

5. Your team's information

• It's yours. You own what you type in: team names, players' names and numbers, the levels you give players, and game minutes. We use it only to run the tools for you.
• Only enter what you need. A first name or a nickname works fine. Please don't enter kids' birthdays, addresses, phone numbers, photos or health details.
• Player levels stay private. The levels you give players are for your planning. They aren't on anything the app makes for parents.
• We don't sell it. We don't sell your information or your team's information.
• You can delete it. Email us and we'll delete your teams and game history.

6. Payments

• Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay.
• Our payment processor handles your card. We never see your full card number.
• One-tap offers. Right after your order, we may offer you an add-on. If you tap Yes, we charge the card you just used for the price on the button. Nothing is charged unless you tap Yes, and these offers only show for a few hours after your order.
• Your bank statement shows HALFCOURT HERO.
• Question about a charge? Email us first. We can usually fix it faster than a bank dispute.

7. The One-Game Guarantee and refunds

Use the kit at one game. If playing time isn't easier to manage, email us within 30 days for a full refund, and keep the kit.

The 30 days cover everything you buy from us. You keep every printable file after a refund. Access to the HalfCourt Hero App, the Chart Builder or Driveway Reps ends when its refund goes through. The full details are on our Refund Policy page.

8. Coaching and safety

• Basketball is a physical sport, and kids can get hurt. You're in charge of your practices and games: check the gym, watch the kids, give water breaks and stop anything that isn't safe.
• Our drills, practices, plays and charts are general ideas for youth teams. Change them to fit your kids, your gym and your league. You decide what's safe and right for each kid.
• Always follow your league's rules. When our materials and your league disagree, your league wins.
• Nothing we make is medical advice. If a kid is hurt or unwell, get help from a parent or a medical professional.
• We can't promise results, like wins, a season with no playing-time questions, or every parent being happy. Our tools help you plan. You still make the calls.

9. We're independent

HalfCourt Hero isn't connected to, or endorsed by, any league, team or basketball organization. When we mention another group's age guidelines, it's for reference only, and that group doesn't endorse us.

10. Emails

• After you buy, we email your download link and receipts.
• If you buy or ask for a free chart, we may also send you emails about coaching and our products. Every one has an unsubscribe link. Order emails still come either way.

11. Things you agree not to do

• Break the law, or use our tools to harass anyone.
• Try to get into another coach's account or information.
• Copy, scrape or resell the site, the app or access to them.
• Overload, attack or try to break the site.

If you break these terms, we may close your account or turn off access. If we do, we'll tell you why.

12. The site and tools come "as is"

We work hard to keep everything accurate and running. Still, the site, the files and the tools come "as is." We can't promise they'll always be available, free of errors or right for every team. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no other promises, stated or implied.

13. Limits on what we owe

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• We aren't responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, such as lost time, lost data or lost profits.
• We aren't responsible for injuries or losses at practices or games you run.
• Our total responsibility for any claim is no more than what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

14. If we disagree

Please email us first, and we'll try to work it out within 30 days. If we can't, Colorado law applies, and any case goes to the state courts in El Paso County, Colorado, or the federal courts in Colorado. Either of us can use small claims court for anything it covers.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we'll email our customers before it starts. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
